the origin of the name papa emeritus band ghost
Ghost a few days ago has released the video clip for the song "Dance Macabre". The music video for this catchy song was directed by Zev Deans, who also directed the music video for "Square Hammer". The music video for "Dance Macabre" itself tells of Papa Emeritus' origins and romantic beginnings with Sister Imperator, one of the characters in the Ghost world. The video, which is inspired by the movie The Rocky Horror Picture Show, begins with 2 men who want to join a party in a luxurious house. then parted inside, where one of them was attracted by a blonde woman who was in the middle of the dance floor. Then, that's where the story of Papa Emeritus and Sister Imperator begins. Dance Macabre" itself is a song that tells about the European Black Plague in the 14th century that claimed millions of lives. This Swedish band with a mysterious gimmick then made a video clip that seemed to celebrate the End of Days of the event. “It's about dancing the night away,” Ghost frontman Tobias Forge (aka Cardinal Copia) told Consequence of Sound. "Ironically, this video tells a little about the origin, whereas the song tells about the end of an event." When asked about the dance feel given to the new single from the Prequelle album, Tobias explained that he wanted to try to create unique songs, just like Queen did. Queen has not only succeeded in creating hard-rock songs, but also interesting ballads.
